With an incredible panoramic view of Playa Pelada and Playa Guiones from its terrace, surrounded by a natural reserve, Villa Mango offers comfortable rooms with private bath, and has its own private pool.  The house was built in the 70´s and you will appreciate its rich woodwork, old-fashioned tiles, heavy thick walls and a roof structure, which ensure a cool house all day long.  Some rooms have air-conditioning and/or fans.  It has a character of its own, which will make you wish you could stay forever.

Downstairs Terrace

While enjoying a copious breakfast with fresh exotic fruits, cereals, eggs, breads, and local cheese and, of course, a cup of steaming coffee or tea, and a glass of fruit juice, you’ll be able to not only appreciate the amazing and peaceful view, but also watch the humming-birds or discuss the day with the howler-monkeys.  There is a lot of furry and not so furry visitors at Villa Mango: birds of all kind flying by,

Humming-birds delighting in flower nectar,

thirsty coatis,

monkeys by the pool,

Baby Iguana by the outside shower

and sometimes the visit of a raccoon on the terrace.

Villa Mango also provides Internet access, laundry service, car rental, bicycles or ATV rentals, plane reservations for your trip from and to the main airports of San Jose or Liberia, tours, and much more. We will help you plan your day, whether you want it full of action or just relaxing. There are possibilities of  to-go lunch, afternoon tea and/or dinner, with a day-notice and at additional costs.
